The village of Eynsford came to a standstill for the funeral of Sapper Smith of 36 Royal Engineers on August 19.

Friends, family and fellow soldiers packed St Martin’s Church to speak of their love for the 26-year-old from Dale Road Swanley who died in Sangin District on July 26.
